From humble beginnings as a Mildura-based community organisation more than 50 years ago, MADEC today is a leading national provider of employment, education and support programs.
Our roots, and enduring purpose – as a registered charity and not-for-profit, to make a difference to people’s lives by alleviating poverty and distress – are what stands MADEC apart.
We’ve been making a positive difference in our clients’ lives since our inception.
We support and assist people in need as they face challenges, helping them to address their needs, overcome social, financial and physical barriers, improving their lives through education and employment.
Each year we help more than 4,500 people find meaningful work.
And our PALM program helps thousands of people every year, from the Pacific and East Timor, with employment opportunity in Australia. In the last decade, PALM has generated more than $500,000,000 in net financial benefit to their families and communities.
With every year that passes, we see an increasing need to assist those in our community who are facing challenges. Our focus holds true. We are on the forefront of developing solutions that can uplift individuals, improve life outcomes, and alleviate poverty or distress.
