Harvest Trail Information Service
The Harvest Trail Information Service (HTIS) connects workers and growers to fill seasonal farm jobs via the Harvest Trail website and call centre. If you are looking for seasonal farm workers, HTIS can help you find them. If you are looking for seasonal farm work, we can refer you to farm work opportunities.
Harvest Trail Services
MADEC Harvest Trail Services provides year-round services to meet seasonal labour needs. We supply labour to major harvest areas seeking large numbers of harvest workers to supplement local labour supply.
Harvest Trail Services staff liaise with harvest employers, industry groups and leaders to keep up with regional trends and industry needs. We communicate with jobseekers outside the region, informing them of available facilities, transport and accommodation. And, we liaise with other labour services including the Harvest Trail Information Service. This extends to other potential labour sources including universities, hostels and community groups.
MADEC Labour Hire
MADEC offers our own value-added recruitment service, for a fee. MADEC Labour Hire services take care of administration, recruitment, selection, payment of wages including superannuation, work cover, penalty rates, award allowances, payroll tax and GST, as well as providing personal protective equipment.
MADEC has offices across south-east South Australia and Victoria and can help with recruitment for wineries, viticulture, labouring, mining, retail, processing, hospitality, horticulture, construction, local government, tourism and apprentices/traineeships.
Seasonal Worker Programme
The Seasonal Worker Programme (SWP) is an Australian government initiative that provides employers in agriculture access to reliable, returning workers from Pacific Island countries and Timor-Leste. As an approved employer of the SWP, MADEC can source, employ and manage people to work on your farm under the program. We comply with all the requirements of being an approved employer including providing all pastoral care.
