Vocational Education and Training (VET) in schools enables students to achieve essential credits towards their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).

  • CHC22015 Certificate II in Community Services | up to 45 Stage 1 SACE Credits upon completion of this qualification

  • SIT20316 Certificate II in Hospitality | up to 50 Stage 1 SACE Credits upon completion of this qualification

  • CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care | up to 155 Stage 2 SACE Credits upon completion of this qualification

  • CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing or Disability stream) | up to 100 Stage 2 SACE Credits upon completion of this qualification

VET IN SCHOOLS

  • Eligibility criteria applies.
  • Hours of structured work placement must be completed 
  • For CHC22015 Certificate II in Community Services, child care units must complete 20 hours of placement in a child care setting

  • For MADEC Vocational Education and Training, the actual SACE credits granted to the student is dependent on the units of competency and nominal hours completed by the student towards the qualification.
